Keyla Jackson is a community leader and advocate with extensive experience advancing community-centered systems, cross-sector collaboration, and sustainability-informed facilities and neighborhood management. Her work focuses on strengthening communities through coordinated services, infrastructure stewardship, and partnerships that support long-term resilience and well-being.


Ms. Jackson currently works in community services and engagement, where she collaborates with public agencies, municipal partners, and community organizations to address complex neighborhood needs. Her work emphasizes prevention, coordination, and rapid response — bringing together housing providers, local governments, service agencies, and community stakeholders to improve safety, access to services, and quality of life for residents. She has played a key role in developing collaborative models that connect individuals and families with critical resources efficiently and responsibly.


Her professional background includes experience in higher education, where she supported student engagement, leadership development, and social change initiatives. As a member of the Board of Directors of  Independent Sustainability Systems, Inc., Ms. Jackson contributes expertise in community engagement, systems coordination, and public-sector collaboration. She supports ISSI’s mission to advance sustainable, equitable solutions that integrate environmental responsibility with community empowerment and capacity building.

Ms. Jackson holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northeastern University and remains actively engaged in work that supports resilient, inclusive communities.
